Job Title

Senior Digital and AMS Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The Data Center and Energy team is hiring a senior verification engineer to lead pre-silicon and support post-silicon verification of mixed-signal ASICs. You will work with verification and design engineers across disciplines to verify analog and mixed-signal top-level and IP-level designs.

Expect to contribute to verification strategy, drive methodology improvements, and collaborate with global teams and external vendors. Travel is required approximately 10% of the time.

Experience Level

Senior β€” experienced engineer. The posting references 4+ years of relevant experience; demonstrated track record in mixed-signal/full-chip verification is expected.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include verification planning, execution, and methodology improvement for mixed-signal products.

  • Contribute to pre-silicon verification of mixed-signal products at top-level and IP-level.
  • Bridge verification and validation environments and support post-silicon validation.
  • Develop and execute verification plans to achieve comprehensive coverage combining digital (DMS) and analog (AMS) verification methods.
  • Perform formal analysis, gate-level simulation, and top-level integration verification.
  • Improve verification flows, methodologies, and models; develop reusable verification assets.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and external technology vendors.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for the role.

  • Proven contributions to full-chip level design verification of mixed-signal devices.
  • Top-level DMS and SV/UVM verification experience; object-oriented and randomized verification techniques.
  • Gate-level simulation experience and familiarity with formal verification approaches.
  • Modeling and validation experience for analog blocks (e.g., RNM, Verilog-AMS).
  • Proficiency with Cadence tool suite (examples: Xcelium, Incisive/IMC, Virtuoso) or equivalent EDA tools.
  • Experience with verification planning/tracking tools (ePlanner, vManager) and scripting (Shell, TCL, Perl, Python).
  • Experience handling multiple clock and power domains in verification environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics engineering (or equivalent) is stated in the posting, with 4+ years of experience. The posting allows equivalent practical experience in lieu of the degree requirement.
