Senior Diffusion Process Engineer
Role Summary
The Senior Diffusion Process Engineer will start up, develop, and optimize diffusion processes for DRAM production, focusing on yield, quality, cost reduction, productivity and risk management. This role works closely with equipment, integration and cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement solutions, and stabilize manufacturing lines.
Experience Level
Senior. The posting requests at least 2+ years of industry experience as a Process Owner within Diffusion and expects demonstrated DRAM development or manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include process development, production support, and continuous improvement activities:
- Start up, develop and optimize diffusion processes to meet product quality and yield targets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing-line problems with hands-on investigation and corrective actions.
- Drive yield, defectivity, cost and productivity improvements; manage associated risks.
- Collaborate with equipment and integrations engineers to identify and eliminate production issues.
- Use project management to deliver milestones that close yield, defectivity, production, and cost gaps.
- Own and improve SPC (statistical process control) charts and related process control metrics.
- Work cross-functionally to implement process transfers and scale-up activities.

Must-have:
- 2+ years industry experience as a Process Owner within Diffusion.
- DRAM development and manufacturing experience.
- Strong process-area knowledge and problem-solving ability in semiconductor fabrication.
- Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training.
- Willingness to learn and apply Agentic AI tools to improve workflows.
Nice-to-have:
- Proficiency in data science techniques and programming for process analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in an engineering field preferred; equivalent military experience accepted. An AAS plus 5+ years of industry experience is an alternative. (Degrees and equivalent-experience language extracted from the posting.)
