Job Title

Senior Circuit Design Engineer - Power Delivery

Role Summary

Design and implement analog/mixed-signal power delivery circuits and IP for advanced deep-submicron processes. The role spans transistor- and system-level voltage regulation design, physical implementation, reliability analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive test-chip prototypes and production-ready IP.

Work within a hardware engineering team focused on integrated power delivery solutions for high-performance computing products.

Experience Level

Senior — typically requires 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include circuit design, verification, and delivery of power-delivery IP:

  • Architect and design analog/mixed-signal circuits for voltage regulation (transistor- and system-level).
  • Drive design and physical implementation of analog/mixed-signal IP blocks.
  • Perform detailed simulations and analyses (DC, AC, transient, loop stability, Monte-Carlo, noise) to verify performance and reliability.
  • Develop and prototype ideas on test chips; iterate designs toward manufacturable, production-ready IP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power-delivery solutions and resolve system-level challenges.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience. Degrees are summarized separately in Education Requirements below.

Must-have:

  • Strong background in analog/mixed-signal circuit design IPs (op-amps, comparators, bandgaps, DAC/ADC, LDOs).
  • Proficiency with circuit simulation and analysis across DC, AC, transient, loop-stability, Monte-Carlo, and noise domains.
  • Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for AMS, EMIR, self-heating, aging, SOA, floating-net checks, and parasitic extraction.
  • Proven track record of taking designs from concept to high-volume manufacturing.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with switching (DC-DC) converter design and system-level tools (Simplis, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Familiarity with design-for-test (DFT) methodologies and scripting/automation for design flows.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Education Requirements

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred; equivalent practical experience is explicitly accepted. Relevant fields include Electrical Engineering or related technical disciplines.
