Senior DFT Methodology - Data Analytics Engineer

Role Summary

This position involves working with pre-silicon and post-silicon data analytics focused on visualization, insights, and modeling. The role includes collaboration with multi-functional teams to develop new methodologies aimed at improving chip quality and addressing complex challenges in Design For Test engineering.

Experience Level

Senior-level position requiring 3-7 years of relevant experience depending on educational background.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing data and providing insights through visualization techniques.
  • Implementing methodologies for improving chip quality including fault modeling and Silicon Lifecycle Management.
  • Tackling complex problems in the Design For Test space using algorithm design and statistical tools.
  • Developing and deploying DFT methodologies for next-generation products.
  • Mentoring junior engineers on design trade-offs including cost and quality considerations.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • BSEE with 7+ years, MSEE with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in low-power DFT, Data Visualization, Applied Machine Learning, or Database Management.
  • Solid understanding of DFT fundamentals such as fault modeling, ATPG, and fault simulation.
  • Experience with statistical tools for data analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, C++, or Tcl.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work on rare challenges.

Education Requirements

BSEE, MSEE, or PhD in a relevant field.
