Senior Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Design Verification Engineer who will ensure the accuracy of designs for analog and mixed-signal electronic components. This role involves working independently to confirm adherence to design rules and conducting experimental tests to ensure specifications are met.

Experience Level

Mid-level; 2 to 5 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Studying specifications and reviewing designs to create test cases for coverage.
  • Developing test benches for module, DUT level, and system level verification.
  • Leading debug efforts for critical features.
  • Working on FPGA-based emulation and prototyping for design validation.
  • Analyzing simulation results to provide insights for design improvements.
  • Documenting models and results clearly.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Design Verification.
  • Understanding of digital design concepts and programming skills in Verilog, Matlab, and Python.
  • Good fundamentals in DSP concepts.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Exposure to FPGA-based emulation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
