Senior Design Verification Engineer, DRAM
Role Summary
Join the DRAM Design Engineering Group to verify and optimize digital and analog circuit designs for next-generation memory products. The role focuses on verification planning, circuit modeling, silicon validation, and cross-functional delivery to production.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 4+ years of semiconductor design, verification, or development experience as indicated by the minimum qualifications.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include technical verification and validation across design and silicon stages:
- Verify circuit functionality, reliability, power, and compliance with product specifications.
- Drive verification planning, coverage closure, circuit debug, and implement design improvements.
- Perform circuit modeling and simulation using SPICE, Verilog, and industry-standard tools.
- Support silicon validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out activities; correlate silicon with pre-silicon models.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to deliver manufacturable designs.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience are listed below; preferred items follow.
- 4+ years of semiconductor design, verification, or development experience.
- Experience with verification planning, coverage strategies, debug, and silicon correlation.
- Experience with integrated circuit modeling and simulation using SPICE and Verilog.
- Familiarity with digital and analog design methodologies and EDA tools such as Synopsys and Cadence Virtuoso.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with UVM, mixed-signal verification, or advanced DRAM architectures (e.g., DDR5+).
- Knowledge of advanced memory technologies (ferroelectric memory, wafer bonding, advanced packaging), small-signal sensing, or high-voltage reliability.
- Programming experience in Python and familiarity with AI-assisted tools for verification and EDA automation.
- 5+ years of experience in design verification, parasitic modeling, or mixed-signal design (preferred).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
