Senior Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Senior engineer responsible for building and executing ASIC design verification environments that improve verification efficiency and quality. The role focuses on applying GenAI and agentic tools to automate and accelerate verification workflows and enable earlier verification (schedule left-shift).
Experience Level
Senior-level. Minimum of 5+ years of design verification experience is required.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include developing verification infrastructure and driving coverage closure for complex SoC designs.
- Design and implement verification environments using UVM/SystemVerilog.
- Develop and integrate GenAI and agentic tools to automate verification tasks and workflows.
- Create and execute test plans; drive functional coverage closure and signoff readiness.
- Use ASIC simulation tools and advanced verification methodologies for SoC verification.
- Integrate verification environments with CPU emulation and SoC-level flows.
- Write and maintain verification scripts and models in SystemVerilog, SystemC or C++ and scripting languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to resolve design and verification issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements that increase verification throughput and quality.
Requirements
Key qualifications and skills required to perform the role.
- 5+ years of design verification experience using UVM/SystemVerilog methodology.
- Hands-on experience developing GenAI solutions, including agentic MCP and skill-based tools.
- Strong expertise with ASIC simulation tools and advanced verification techniques.
- Proven experience with SoC verification and CPU emulation environments.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, SystemC or C++, and scripting languages for testbench automation.
- Proven ability to build test plans and achieve coverage closure.

- Clear approach to achieving verification quality signoff and strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred.
