Job Title
Senior Design Verification Engineer (BO - 01)
Role Summary
Join the silicon design verification team to plan and execute verification for mixed-signal ASICs. Collaborate with digital and analog designers, applications engineers, and manufacturing test across pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation.
Develop and improve verification methodology, testbenches, coverage, and verification infrastructure to support complex mixed-signal IC developments.
Experience Level
Senior-level β requires at least 5 years of silicon design or verification experience (posting specifies 5+ years).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for the role include verification planning, environment and test development, and debug/support of verification flows.
- Perform verification planning and define coverage objectives.
- Develop testbenches and environments using UVM methodologies.
- Implement functional verification for mixed-signal ASICs and create digital/mixed-signal models.
- Develop directed and constrained-random test generation and run gate-level simulations.
- Perform failure analysis, coverage analysis and population, and regression debug support.
- Improve verification flows and contribute to verification infrastructure development.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience; preferred items noted.
- 5+ years of experience in silicon design or verification, including pre- and post-silicon work.
- Strong practical experience with HDLs: Verilog and VHDL.
- Strong practical experience with HVLs and verification methodologies: SystemVerilog and UVM (familiarity with OVM, AVM, Vera is a plus).
- Experience with coverage-driven verification, assertions (e.g. SVA), and gate-level simulation.
- Proven debugging and failure-analysis skills; experience supporting regression and debug flows.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with analog/digital designers and manufacturing test; mentoring junior engineers is a plus.
- Preferred: knowledge of signal processing and experience improving verification processes.
Education Requirements
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (specified in the posting).
