Job Title

Senior Design Verification Engineer/Architect, HBM

Role Summary

Member of the Heterogeneous Integration Group developing High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) solutions. Design and deliver modular, scalable verification architectures for IP- and SoC-level verification across 2.5D/3D package-integrated HBM products.

Collaborate with design, product engineering, and business teams to drive verification plans, debug pre- and post-silicon issues, and improve verification methodology and tooling.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 4+ years of relevant verification engineering experience. Source guidance: 4+ years relevant experience including >3 years in digital/analog/mixed-signal verification and >2 years in custom or RTL verification flows.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities for the role include developing verification strategy, executing verification activities, and improving verification infrastructure for HBM designs.

  • Develop and implement verification plans and architecture for IP- and SoC-level HBM verification.
  • Support system co-verification and participate in customer interactions to gather feedback and provide recommendations.
  • Build and improve verification methodology components and GenAI-enabled tools aligned to HBM design cycles.
  • Evaluate and debug pre-silicon and post-silicon issues and explore new verification architectures.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

  • 4+ years of relevant verification engineering experience, including over 3 years in digital (Verilog), analog (FastSpice), or mixed-signal verification.
  • Over 2 years working in custom schematic-based verification or RTL design verification flows.
  • Experience with testbench architecture, verification methodologies, and 2.5D/3D package integration.
  • Ability to independently evaluate technical issues and define solutions; strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Nice-to-have: patents, trade secrets, or publications demonstrating innovation.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with memory products using JEDEC specifications (preferably HBM) and building or improving verification flows.
