Role Summary

The Senior Design Verification Engineer will join the WiFi hardware team, focusing on defining, developing, and debugging verification environments for Texas Instruments’ wireless MCU products in industrial markets. The engineer will work closely with various teams and mentor junior members.

Senior level, requiring 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing verification environments.

Responsibilities

The role includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and debug verification environments for wireless MCU products.
  • Ensure compliance with architecture and various protocol specifications.
  • Collaborate with software, architecture, algorithm, and design teams.
  • Mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Minimum requirements include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Communication Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing verification environments.
  • Mastery of a major verification methodology and language (e.g., System Verilog/UVM, Specman).
  • Expertise in coverage-driven verification and constrained random testing.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with WiFi/BLE protocols.
  • Experience with gate-level simulation and mixed-signal verification.
  • Moderate experience with AI tools for code development.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Communication Engineering, or equivalent required.
