Senior Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join Micron's Build Engineering organization to plan and execute design verification for next-generation DRAM and emerging memory products. The role focuses on verification of high-density memory builds with advanced functionality, high-speed interfaces, low-power architectures, and power management.
Work on global, cross-functional teams to apply verification methodologies, automation, and industry-standard tools to identify and resolve functional and timing defects.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include planning and executing verification activities, building verification environments, debugging issues, and delivering verification automation.
- Develop and execute verification plans, testcases, regressions, and coverage strategies for complex memory builds.
- Build and improve verification environments using SystemVerilog, UVM, and standard verification methodologies.
- Debug build and verification issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive resolution of functional and timing defects.
- Develop scripting and automation solutions to improve verification efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with global design, build, and cross-functional teams to define verification strategies and enable successful product development.
- Contribute to verification signoff, metrics, and completeness assessment.
Requirements
Core technical skills and experience required or strongly preferred.

Must-have: Strong understanding of semiconductor fundamentals, digital builds, and CMOS circuits.

Must-have: Experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, and verification methodologies for digital and/or mixed-signal designs.

Must-have: Familiarity with simulation and verification tools such as Xcelium, Verilog simulators, SpectreFX, or equivalent.

Must-have: Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-have: Experience developing automation tools and scripts using Python, Perl, or similar languages.

Nice-to-have: Familiarity with verification metrics, assertions (SVA), verification signoff processes, and industry tools from Cadence or Synopsys.

Nice-to-have: Knowledge of DRAM or memory products and semiconductor verification flows.

Nice-to-have: Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate verification and debugging.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
