Role Summary
Responsible for planning and executing functional verification of RTL and SoC designs within Arm's architecture and design engineering teams in Bengaluru. Collaborates with architects, RTL designers, and software teams to define verification strategy, build verification environments, and ensure design correctness at block and system levels.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Define verification plans and strategies for complex IP or SoC blocks.
- Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification components.
- Create directed and randomized tests, checkers, and coverage models; analyse coverage results.
- Debug functional failures across RTL, simulation, and software layers; track and close issues.
- Automate verification flows and regression runs; use simulation, emulation, and CI tools.
- Collaborate with architects and RTL designers to review design intent and resolve issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process and tool improvements.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred skills:

Must-have: Proven experience in design verification for RTL/SoC, strong knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM, RTL familiarity, and debugging complex verification failures.

Must-have: Proficiency with verification tools and simulators and scripting (e.g., Python); experience with coverage-driven verification.

Nice-to-have: Experience with emulation, formal verification, CI/automation, and familiarity with Arm architecture or CPU verification.
