Senior Design Evaluation Engineer
Role Summary
Lead development and implementation of test and diagnostic methods for products across development and manufacturing phases. Work within the Product Development team to author test programs, design advanced test fixtures and PCBs for evaluation, plan testing resources, resolve complex technical issues, and drive improvements in test methodologies.
Role may require up to 10% travel.

Senior-level. Typically requires 5+ years of relevant test engineering or related experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for preparing and executing comprehensive test and diagnostic solutions to validate product performance, support qualification, and improve test efficiency and quality.
- Lead design and implementation of test strategies and test-case development across multiple product lines.
- Develop and execute diagnostic test programs to identify and isolate complex performance issues.
- Design and oversee development of advanced test fixtures, equipment, and PCBs for evaluation and production testing.
- Create, standardize, and document test setups, procedures, and specifications.
- Plan and coordinate testing resources, schedules, and equipment allocation across projects.
- Troubleshoot complex system and equipment issues and lead resolution efforts.
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Lead qualification testing efforts to meet market and customer requirements.

- Advanced ability to architect comprehensive test strategies and validate product functionality against specifications.
- Deep expertise in creating and executing diagnostic programs for complex defect identification.
- Significant experience designing and developing complex test fixtures and measurement equipment.
- Proven ability to define robust test setups and write clear, repeatable test procedures.
- Strong resource planning skills for coordinating labor, schedules, and equipment.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills for systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of qualification testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
- Advanced PCB design knowledge for test setups and evaluation boards.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
- Prior experience across multiple product lines and test environments.
Education Requirements
