Role Summary
The role involves joining Arm’s GPU Hardware Design Team to design and optimize GPUs that will handle graphics, compute, machine learning, and AI workloads. The team is responsible for the Mali™ range of graphics processors, which are widely used worldwide.
Experience Level
Senior level position, with significant experience in hardware design.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include:
- Deriving specifications from architecture requirements.
- Specifying, designing, and optimizing complex blocks for GPUs.
- Delivering IP blocks on time while meeting performance, power, and area targets.
- Taking technical leadership for a block within the GPU.
Requirements
Key requirements are:
- Experience in RTL design for GPUs, CPUs, or DSP.
- Broad project experience, having owned and carried out design and implementation from specification to design sign-off.
- Ability to perform metric-driven design space exploration and make trade-off evaluations for power, performance, and area.
- Independently manage work and tasks.
