Senior Data Scientist - Smart Manufacturing & AI (Operations Intelligence)
Role Summary
Member of the Smart Manufacturing & AI team responsible for designing and delivering scheduling, optimization, simulation, and data-analytics solutions that support fab decision-making and digital-twin capabilities.
Work cross-functionally with management and global manufacturing sites to identify improvement opportunities and deploy data-driven production solutions.

Responsibilities
Deliver production-ready analytics and engineering solutions that improve manufacturing performance.
- Design and develop scheduling, optimization, and simulation solutions for advanced factory operations.
- Build high-quality data analytics and applications that provide insight and enable operational decisions.
- Identify optimization opportunities with stakeholders and deliver solutions to improve production metrics.
- Drive global collaboration, alignment, and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions across sites.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily workflows, maintaining compliance with standards and legal requirements.
- Explore and apply new technologies and concepts to enable breakthrough manufacturing solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within scope of work.

- Must-have: Proficiency in C#, Python, and SQL; experience with Snowflake, Visual Studio, Tableau, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Must-have: Strong problem-solving skills, proactive work style, ability to work independently and cross-culturally.
- Must-have: Experience developing data analytics and production applications for operational use.
- Nice-to-have: Experience in optimization, factory scheduling, and simulation.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with machine learning, deep learning, or reinforcement learning.
- Able and willing to travel overseas.
Education Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or other technical disciplines, or equivalent professional work experience.
