Role Summary
The Senior CPU Design Engineer will join NVIDIA's dynamic CPU design team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves engaging with cutting-edge technology to contribute to groundbreaking projects that utilize AI in computing.
Experience Level
Senior - 5+ years of experience required.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- Implementation, synthesis, and timing closure in collaboration with the architecture team.
- Achieving timing, area, performance, and power goals for the unit.
- Defining the architecture for next-generation coherent interconnects and system-level caches.
- Participating in design reviews and providing technical mentorship.
- Working closely with teams on CPU and SoC design/architecture.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in processor or related high-performance interconnect designs.
- Proven digital development expertise, including hands-on synthesis.
- Expertise in high-frequency interconnect/cache/core build is preferred.
- Verilog expertise and understanding of ASIC build flow, RTL build, verification, DFT, and ECO.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration in a dynamic team environment.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent is expected.
