- Design and implement compiler support for next-generation AI accelerator architectures and new network topologies.
- Optimize compile-time and generated code for performance and energy efficiency on target hardware.
- Lead end-to-end compiler development including prototyping, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with SDK, algorithm, architecture, and hardware teams to gather requirements and validate compiler behavior.
- Provide feedback to hardware engineers to influence future architectural designs based on compiler findings.
- Introduce and apply industry best practices and new techniques in neural network compiler technology.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Practical knowledge of neural networks and standard model architectures.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with neural-network compiler frameworks (for example MLIR or TVM).
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and experience optimizing software for specific hardware targets.
- Ability to rapidly prototype and test compiler ideas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with IREE, ExecuTorch, ONNX Runtime, or backend code generation (GCC/LLVM).
- Experience with RISC-V, especially the vector extension.
- Knowledge of digital/analog circuits, spike neural networks, embedded platforms and runtimes.
