The Senior Circuit Design Engineer will engage in groundbreaking processor design, participating as part of a global circuits team to develop innovative circuits for hardware security, adaptive clocking, and power management solutions.
Experience Level
Senior level with a minimum of 6 years of digital circuit design experience for candidates with a Master's degree or 8 years for Bachelor's degree holders.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- Participate in processor design in deep submicron technologies.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance product power, performance, and reliability.
- Drive design and physical implementation of custom digital IPs.
- Develop prototypes of patentable ideas and lead them to deployment.
- Engage in transistor-level circuit design and layout delivery.
- Incorporate AI/ML techniques into the design process.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
- BSEE/MS preferred in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent understanding of deep submicron processes and digital circuit design.
- Hands-on experience with Spice simulations and EM/IR analysis.
- Basic knowledge of layout tools and design rule checks (DRC).
- Experience in low power circuit design is a plus.
- Familiarity with RTL, logic synthesis, and verification is advantageous.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.
Education Requirements
Preferred degrees include BSEE or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering; equivalent experience may be considered.
