Senior Chip Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Senior engineer on NVIDIA's Switch Silicon team responsible for design verification of switch silicon core units. Work within a combined design and verification team to develop reference models, verify and simulate chip blocks, and ensure high-speed, low-latency packet processing.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 5+ years of RTL design or RTL verification experience.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on design verification, simulation, and cross-team collaboration to deliver production-quality switch silicon.
- Develop and verify RTL blocks and reference models for switch silicon core units.
- Create and run simulations to validate block functionality against specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Micro-Architecture, and Firmware teams.
- Debug design issues and drive fixes through the design and verification flow.
- Contribute to meeting performance goals for throughput and latency.
Requirements

- Must-have: 5+ years of experience in RTL design or RTL verification.
- Must-have: Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Nice-to-have: Previous experience in networking or switch silicon design/verification.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
