Senior Chip Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's Networking Silicon engineering team in Tel Aviv to lead verification efforts for next-generation high-speed communication and GPU networking controllers. The role focuses on developing and validating chip-level controllers and verification environments across multidisciplinary projects.
The position involves close collaboration with design and system teams and includes mentoring junior engineers.
Experience Level
Senior — typically requires a minimum of 5 years of ASIC verification experience.
Responsibilities
The principal responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute verification plans for chip controllers and networking IP.
- Design and implement sophisticated verification environments and testbenches.
- Integrate verification activities across cross-functional teams (design, system, firmware).
- Debug issues with simulation and verification tools and drive root-cause analysis.
- Mentor and guide junior verification engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:
- Must-have: Minimum 5 years of proven ASIC verification experience.
- Must-have: Strong teamwork and communication skills; high proficiency in English.
- Must-have: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to operate in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with Specman.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with standard protocols such as I2C, SPI, AMBA, RMII.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of HDL (Verilog/VHDL).
Education Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Communication Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
