Senior Chip Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior Chip Design Verification Engineer will join NVIDIA's Switch Silicon team to design and implement next-generation Switch Silicon chips. This role involves working collaboratively with a team of engineers to develop high-speed communication devices that achieve the highest throughput and lowest latency.

Experience Level

Senior level, 5+ years of experience in RTL design or dynamic verification.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

• Work in a design/verification team which develops core units within the Switch silicon.
• Design micro-architecture of dynamic verification environments for various units and modules.
• Create dynamic verification environments for units/blocks according to architecture specifications while considering power, area, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with multiple teams including Architecture, micro-architecture, Full chip Micro-Architecture, Backend, and Firmware.

Requirements

Must-have skills and qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with high academic standing or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in RTL design/dynamic verification.
• Knowledge of network protocols and/or HPC and distributed calculations is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
