Role Summary

Join the Switch Silicon team to develop and verify high-performance network switch chips. The role focuses on RTL design and dynamic verification of core silicon blocks, working across architecture, micro-architecture, backend and firmware teams.

Experience Level

Senior — requires 5+ years of chip design experience.

Responsibilities

You will contribute to design, verification and delivery of Switch silicon blocks.

• Develop and verify core Switch silicon units as a dynamic verification or RTL design engineer.
• Build reference models and verify/simulate chip blocks against specifications under power, area and performance constraints.
• Design RTL for units/blocks to architecture specifications and perform RTL synthesis, timing closure, and verification support.
• Participate in silicon post tape-out (post-TO) bring-up activities.
• Collaborate with Architecture, micro-architecture, full-chip teams, back-end and firmware groups to integrate and validate designs.

Requirements

Key must-have and optional skills for the role.

• Must-have: 5+ years of experience in chip design with demonstrated RTL design or dynamic verification work.
• Experience with RTL synthesis, timing analysis/closure, and supporting verification and silicon bring-up activities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work across multiple engineering teams.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of network protocols, HPC, or distributed computation concepts.

Education Requirements

Electrical Engineering B.Sc. or Computer Engineering B.Sc. with high scores, or equivalent practical experience.
