Senior C++ Software Engineer

Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's Developer Tools group (Mellanox Technologies) in Tel Aviv to design and implement high-performance developer tools for systems combining CPU, GPU and DPU hardware.

Develop low-overhead profiling/debugging tools, evaluate emerging HW/SW solutions, and collaborate with global software and hardware teams to deliver production-ready tooling. NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer.

Senior — typically requires 5+ years developing high-performance applications using modern C++ (C++20).

Responsibilities

The role focuses on building low-overhead developer tools, working with pre-market hardware and software, and partnering with cross-disciplinary teams.

• Design and implement low-overhead, fine-precision performance tools for CPU–GPU–DPU systems.
• Work with emerging hardware and software solutions prior to market release.
• Integrate tools with operating systems and runtimes while minimizing performance impact.
• Collaborate with global multi-disciplinary software and hardware teams to define requirements and deliver improvements.
• Write clean, documented, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

Required technical skills and professional attributes.

• 5+ years experience developing high-performance applications using modern C++ (C++20).
• Strong C++ programming skills and emphasis on clean, well-documented source code.
• Ability to independently learn complex technologies with minimal guidance.
• Proficient English (written and verbal).
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Linux kernel development experience.
• Experience with Python and developer tooling.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (specified as a requirement in the posting).
