Senior C++ Software Engineer
Role Summary
Join Siemens EDA as a Senior Software Engineer on the Research & Development team in Tel Aviv. You will design and implement features for a graphical desktop application used in electronic design automation, with focus on performance, reliability, and cross-platform support.
This is a hybrid role based at the Tel Aviv office (Airport City) involving collaboration with multiple teams to deliver product improvements.
Experience Level
Senior — typically more than 3 years of professional experience in C and C++ development for desktop applications.
Responsibilities
The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Design and develop features for a graphical desktop application.
- Write fast, maintainable, well-documented C/C++ code.
- Improve and verify product quality and performance through testing and profiling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features.
- Adopt and contribute to Agile development practices.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- More than 3 years of professional experience in C and C++ on desktop applications.
- Experience developing on both Windows and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methods.
- Strong English communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with geometric algorithms.
- Background in electronics or PCB manufacturing.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical work experience.
