Job Title
Senior ASIC Verification Engineer - HSIO
Role Summary
Senior engineer responsible for verification of High Speed I/O (HSIO) controllers at IP and sub-system levels. The role focuses on validating architecture, micro-architecture and implementation for controllers such as Ethernet and NVLink using advanced verification methodologies.
Work with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to define verification scope, infrastructure, tests, and to debug complex issues.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 5+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary verification responsibilities and team interactions:
- Verify ASIC design, architecture and micro-architecture of HSIO controllers at IP and sub-system levels.
- Develop test plans, tests and verification infrastructure to validate design correctness against specifications.
- Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers and scoreboards following coverage-driven methodologies.
- Apply UVM-based methodologies with random stimulus, functional coverage and assertion-based techniques.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon teams for design reviews and debug.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience at unit, sub-system or SoC level.
- Strong SystemVerilog and UVM expertise.
- Proven experience verifying IP or interconnect protocols (for example Ethernet, USB, SATA).
- Experience using random stimulus, functional coverage and assertion-based verification; familiarity with industry simulation tools.
- Excellent debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
