Role Summary

NVIDIA SOC System-ASIC team is seeking a verification engineer to collaborate closely with architecture, design, and verification engineers. This role involves verifying top-level control units and silicon measurement units crucial for NVIDIA's GPU and Tegra products.

Experience Level

Senior level with more than 5 years of ASIC design/verification experience.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

  • Defining micro-architecture for system-level modules (e.g., Fuse, Strap, Floorsweep).
  • Performing unit-level and system-level verification for system-level modules.
  • Managing NVIDIA internal checks to ensure design quality.

Requirements

Must-have skills include:

  • BS/MS or equivalent experience in electrical/computer engineering.
  • Over 5 years of ASIC design/verification experience.
  • Familiarity with verification methodologies, tools, and flows.
  • Understanding of frontend ASIC design flow (RTL design, synthesis, timing analysis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice-to-have skills include:

  • Broad knowledge of Video techniques, SOC architecture, and Computer architecture.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, SystemVerilog, Perl, and Python.

Education Requirements

BS/MS or equivalent experience in electrical/computer engineering and related fields.
