Job Title

Senior ASIC Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join the NVIDIA System-On-Chip (SoC) team to verify system-level IP used for performance measurement across multiple projects. The role focuses on designing and improving verification methodology and executing end-to-end verification for RTL at unit, subsystem and SoC levels.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities include building and running verification environments, developing tests, and driving verification to closure.

  • Design, develop, and maintain unit/sub-system verification environments.
  • Analyze architecture specifications and implement test plans to verify RTL.
  • Create UVM components, sequences, tests, and scoreboards; maintain high-quality code and coverage.
  • Run regressions, triage failures, resolve issues, and meet DV milestones.
  • Automate build, regression, and triage workflows.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and software engineers to meet project goals.
  • Improve testbench efficiency by adopting modern verification techniques and tools.
  • Own end-to-end verification and sign-off for assigned IP.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and tools required for effective verification work.

  • Proficient in SystemVerilog and UVM; strong OOP-based testbench programming practices.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or equivalent industry-standard scripting languages.
  • Solid understanding of RTL design (Verilog) and computer architecture fundamentals.
  • Experience with simulation and debug tools such as VCS (or equivalent) and Verdi (or similar).
  • Experience writing maintainable verification code and achieving functional coverage goals.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field β€” or equivalent practical experience.
