Job Title

Senior ASIC Power Engineer

Role Summary

Design and implement power-efficient RTL and hardware for high-performance processors and accelerators. Work within the GPU ASIC team to meet area, performance, and power targets across mobile, embedded, automotive and datacenter platforms.

Experience Level

Senior-level; requires 5+ years of experience in processor or other high-performance design.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop RTL and hardware designs focused on power, performance and area optimization.
  • Define, measure and track power metrics; analyze power and drive reductions across the design flow.
  • Deliver fully verified, high-performance, area- and power-efficient RTL to achieve design targets.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, verification and VLSI teams to integrate and validate power solutions.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in processor or other high-performance designs.
  • Expertise in SystemVerilog or a similar hardware description language.
  • Solid understanding of physical design and VLSI flows.
  • Background in computer architecture.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with power modeling, power signoff, or low-power design techniques.
  • Previous work on GPU or accelerator designs.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
