Senior ASIC Hardware Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and implement high-performance, low-power security engines and RISC-V processor modules for NVIDIA SoCs and CPUs. Work as part of a new Israel-based ASIC design group collaborating with architects, verification, and physical design teams across NVIDIA.
Experience Level
Senior — 5+ years of relevant chip design experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to micro-architecture development and produce clear design specifications.
- Implement RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog) and collaborate with verification to ensure functional correctness.
- Optimize logic to meet performance, power, and area targets; deliver synthesis- and timing-clean designs.
- Work with physical design teams to ensure designs are routable and physically implementable.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in complex chip/ASIC design development.
- Highly proficient in logic design and RTL using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
- Strong understanding of physical design flows and VLSI implementation constraints.
- Proven ability to deliver synthesis- and timing-clean implementations and collaborate with physical design and verification teams.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Nice-to-have: experience with security engines, RISC-V core design, or CPU/SoC IP development.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (as stated). No alternative-equivalent language provided.
