Role Summary
Work on verification of inference accelerator ASICs as part of a verification team. The role focuses on developing verification infrastructure and testbenches, validating architecture and micro-architecture, and ensuring design correctness for high-performance AI and graphics accelerators.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification activities across block and SoC levels, building automation, and collaborating with design and architecture teams.
- Define verification scope and develop verification infrastructure and testbenches at block and SoC levels.
- Verify design, architecture, reference models, and micro-architecture using advanced methodologies.
- Implement and optimize automated verification flows to improve productivity.
- Develop tests using random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based techniques.
- Debug failures, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate fixes with designers.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and verification teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Integrate power verification and netlist/DFT checks where applicable.
- Evaluate and apply machine learning techniques to enhance verification efficiency.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience, plus a few desirable skills.
- 8+ years of ASIC verification experience, including testbench development at block and SoC levels.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
- Experience with random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills; experience with waveform and log analysis.
- Familiarity with verification and debug tools such as VCS and Verdi (or equivalents).
- Programming experience in Python/Perl and C/C++ for automation and tool integration.
- Understanding of the ASIC design flow from specification to GDS.
- Nice-to-have: UPF power verification, netlist/DFT verification experience, and experience applying ML to verification processes.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is specified, or equivalent practical experience.
