Senior β typically 5+ years of relevant ASIC/VLSI experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include RTL development, verification, and cross-team collaboration to meet performance, area, and power targets.
- Document, implement, and deliver fully verified RTL that meets design targets and specifications.
- Define architecture and micro-architecture; perform RTL design and synthesis.
- Perform logic and timing verification using CAD tools and process technologies.
- Participate in defining verification scope and developing verification infrastructure and testbenches.
- Use random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies for unit and system-level verification.
- Collaborate and coordinate with multiple ASIC development teams, including remote members.
- Debug and optimize designs for performance, area, and power.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant, meaningful ASIC/VLSI engineering experience.
- Proven hardware engineering background with a focus on VLSI and computer architecture.
- Expertise in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or similar HDLs.
- Proficient in scripting (Perl, Python, or similar) for automation and verification tasks.
- Experience with logic synthesis and static timing analysis.
- Exposure to industry design and verification tools (VCS or equivalent simulators, debug tools such as Verdi, GDB).
- Experience building and using testbench environments and verification methodologies (random stimulus, functional coverage, assertions).
- Strong debugging, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with on-site and remote teams.
- Experience with embedded processors is a plus.
