Role Summary
Provide applications engineering support for Synopsys EDA tools focused on PDN, STA, ECO, PrimeTime, PrimeClosure and related flows. The role partners with customers, sales, and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues, enable product usage, and improve flows.
The position is part of the Applications Engineering organization and is based in Noida, supporting customers and internal teams in the region.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PDN, STA, ECO, PrimeTime, PrimeClosure and related toolchains.
- Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and regressions to reproduce and diagnose issues.
- Work with R&D and product teams to escalate and resolve complex tool or flow problems.
- Deliver trainings, demos, and technical enablement for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales and professional services on customer engagements and proof-of-concept work.
Requirements
Core qualifications and skills expected for this role.
- Must-have: Hands-on experience with STA/PrimeTime, ECO flows, PrimeClosure, PDN/tool flows and EDA tool usage; strong debugging and scripting skills.
- Must-have: Strong communication skills for customer-facing technical support and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with RTL-to-GDSII flows, signoff flows, and familiarity with hardware design constraints and methodologies.
