Provide technical support for Synopsys EDA tools focused on digital design, RTL and verification workflows. The role is based in Colombo and supports global customers by diagnosing tool and design issues, providing workarounds, and feeding real-world issues back to product engineering.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Synopsys EDA tools used in digital design and verification flows.
- Debug customer RTL and verification environments, reproduce issues, isolate root causes, and propose workarounds.
- Work directly with customers to understand their design environments, deployment challenges, and tool usage.
- Escalate and collaborate with product engineering teams to report bugs and request enhancements; close the feedback loop.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, support documentation, and best practices based on customer cases.
- Support product deployment activities including installation, configuration troubleshooting, and onboarding assistance.
- Participate in case reviews and technical discussions to improve team support quality.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- 2–3 years of industry experience in digital design, verification, EDA tool usage, or technical customer support.
- Strong understanding of digital electronics fundamentals and logic design principles.
- Hands-on experience reading and working with hardware description languages (Verilog or VHDL).
- Proven ability to debug complex technical issues methodically and explain findings clearly.
- Comfortable working across time zones and communicating technical details in English (written and spoken).
- Nice-to-have: experience with EDA/CAD tools, simulation environments, synthesis flows, formal verification, DFT, timing analysis, physical implementation tools, or FPGA/ASIC design.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field. The posting does not specify certifications or an explicit "equivalent experience" clause.
