Role Summary

Lead technical engagement with sales to support Hardware Assisted Verification (HAV) using Siemens EDA's emulation and FPGA prototyping products. Responsible for pre-sales and post-sales technical assessments, rapid implementation of customer solutions, and close collaboration with customers, R&D, marketing, and account teams.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on customer-facing technical leadership throughout the sales lifecycle and ensuring successful deployment and use of emulation solutions.

• Drive technical aspects of sales engagements and product evaluations with customers.
• Deploy and commission emulation and FPGA prototyping software and hardware at customer sites.
• Assess customer technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions for HAV.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during evaluations and deployments.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demos highlighting product features and updates.
• Provide detailed technical feedback and product improvement suggestions to R&D and product teams.
• Collaborate with sales, account teams, marketing, and cross-functional internal teams to identify opportunities and ensure customer success.
• Build and maintain peer-level technical relationships with customers and act as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional attributes for successful performance in this role.

• Understanding of computer architecture, including common interfaces and memory subsystems.
• Hands-on experience with SoC design and verification methodologies.
• RTL design experience with SystemVerilog, Verilog, and/or VHDL.
• Experience with verification languages and methodologies such as UVM, SystemC, and C/C++ at IP or subsystem level.
• Proficiency in scripting (Perl, Python, Makefile) and experience with UNIX/Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to diagnose hardware/software integration issues.
• Customer-facing experience and ability to work directly with customers during evaluations and deployments.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills; proactive team player willing to learn new technologies.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in electrical, computer or electronics engineering, computer science, or an equivalent discipline; or equivalent practical experience (the posting references "BS or MS" and "equivalent discipline").
