Job Title

Senior Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design and deliver Analog/RF/mixed-signal integrated circuits and SoC blocks from concept through characterization and qualification for consumer, industrial, and automotive products. Work within a cross-functional global engineering team and support layout, verification, and production handoff.

Senior β€” Professional level. Requires 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include specification, design, verification and lab characterization of analog/RF/mixed-signal circuits.

  • Specify, architect and design analog/RF/mixed-signal IC blocks from product definition through qualification.
  • Prepare documentation and participate in concept, schematic/layout and final design reviews.
  • Develop and execute lab test plans for post-fab circuit and chip characterization.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure designs meet specifications and schedules.
  • Support layout and system designers with design specifics and verification.
  • Automate and improve workflows via scripting and batch-mode operations.
  • Work independently on complex tasks and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in analog/RF or mixed-signal IC design.
  • Strong theoretical understanding of power-management, control, or communication system architectures and circuit implementations.
  • Experience with analog/RF IC design tools: Cadence Virtuoso required; Keysight ADS/HFSS desired.
  • Familiarity with digital design techniques and tools (DSP, MATLAB, Verilog, VHDL).
  • Experience scripting/programming for automation and test development (Python, C, TCL, SKILL).
  • Ability to develop test plans and perform lab characterization and verification.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and experience mentoring junior engineers.

Education Requirements

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or higher with IC-focused design coursework required.
