Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for analog and mixed-signal circuit design, verification, and system-level algorithm development for Mythic's analog-compute AI hardware. The role spans low-level SPICE simulation to top-level modeling and behavioral implementation, and requires coordinating interfaces and specifications across multiple teams.

Work includes circuit modeling, calibration and test algorithm development, and integrating analog designs into larger mixed-signal systems.

Responsibilities

Primary duties involve hands-on circuit design, modeling, and cross-team specification management:

• Perform low-level SPICE simulations and mixed-signal circuit analysis.
• Develop system-level models and algorithms in Python/NumPy or MATLAB.
• Implement behavioral models in Verilog-A and SystemVerilog Real-Number Modeling.
• Design and develop calibration, test, and verification algorithms.
• Define, track, and communicate mixed-signal interface requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve ambiguity and integrate features.
• Support design verification and handoff across teams.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Extensive experience with Cadence Virtuoso for analog and mixed-signal design and verification.
• Experience modeling circuits with Python/NumPy or MATLAB; experience with Verilog-A and SystemVerilog RNM.
• Experience developing calibration and test algorithms.
• Proven ability to track and communicate mixed-signal interface requirements/specifications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have:

• Cadence tool setup and infrastructure knowledge (ability to debug tool issues).
• Proficiency with Linux and debugging in that environment.
• Automotive or other high-reliability engineering experience.
