Job Title
Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and deliver analog and mixed-signal circuits for MEMS sensor interfaces, including architecture, simulation, prototyping and laboratory testing. Work within an international R&D team to integrate analog front-ends with MEMS, digital, and system-level designs.
Position is development-focused within a high-technology sensor startup environment working on inertial and pressure MEMS devices.
Experience Level
Senior β minimum 5 years of experience in analog/mixed-signal circuit design.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Architect, design, simulate and optimize analog/mixed-signal circuits (amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC, PLLs, voltage regulators, etc.).
- Perform circuit-level simulation and behavioral modeling; develop Verilog-A/SystemVerilog models as required.
- Prototype, test and characterize circuits in the lab; iterate designs based on measurement results.
- Contribute to technical specifications and validate analog behavior against system requirements.
- Collaborate with MEMS, digital and system engineers to ensure seamless integration into final products.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:
-
Must-have: At least 5 years of hands-on analog/mixed-signal circuit design experience in CMOS or BiCMOS technologies.
-
Must-have: Strong proficiency with circuit simulation and EDA tools (Cadence, HSPICE, or equivalent).
-
Must-have: Experience with analog/mixed-signal behavioral modeling using Verilog-A or SystemVerilog.
-
Must-have: Practical experience with prototyping, lab testing and measurement-driven design iteration.
-
Must-have: Fluent English (written and spoken).
-
Nice-to-have: Experience with MEMS analog interfaces and sensor front-ends.
-
Nice-to-have: Familiarity with automotive/industrial standards such as IATF16949 or ISO26262.
-
Nice-to-have: Italian preferred; French is a plus.
Education Requirements
MSc or PhD in electronics, microelectronics or a closely related technical field (electrical engineering, microelectronics). No explicit statement about equivalent experience was provided.
