Job Title
Senior Analog Engineer (f/m/d)
Role Summary
Design and verify CMOS analog blocks for custom ASICs and take technical ownership of sub-systems from specification through production ramp. Work within an ASIC design team and collaborate with layout, DFT, test, and product engineering to deliver silicon that meets performance, area, power and schedule targets.
Experience Level
Senior-level. The role requires approximately 5β8 years of relevant analog circuit design experience.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering analog IP and supporting chip bring-up and production ramp.
- Design and verify CMOS analog blocks (amplifiers, oscillators, LDOs, comparators, reference/bias circuits).
- Take technical leadership for sub-systems and drive them from specification to production ramp.
- Collaborate with project leads on system and design strategy for custom ASICs.
- Guide and review layout to ensure quality of implementation.
- Produce clear technical documentation for designed circuits.
- Work with DFT engineers to align verification and test strategies.
- Lead silicon debugging, design characterization and lab evaluation.
- Support test development and ramp activities with test and product engineering.
- Coach and mentor less-experienced team members and contribute to team development.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, plus a few preferred strengths.
- 5β8 years of hands-on analog circuit design experience (as stated above).
- Practical experience in design and verification of amplifiers, oscillators, LDOs, comparators and reference/bias circuits.
- Experience with sub-system and chip-level verification, including AMS verification.
- Strong competence with EDA design tools and the Cadence design environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, make sound engineering judgments, and meet tight schedules.
- Good written and verbal English communication and presentation skills in multi-site, multi-cultural teams.
- Willingness and flexibility for occasional short-notice international travel.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others and share expertise.
- Nice-to-have: expertise in filters and PLLs, and/or RF circuits such as LNAs and mixers.
Education Requirements
Degree-level qualification in Electronics / Microelectronics Engineering or a related discipline is required.
