Role Summary

Senior analog IC designer responsible for end-to-end analog/sub-section/IP architecture, design, and release for custom mobile and consumer electronics products. Work on mixed-signal power and interface products within a cross-functional team and interact directly with high-volume customers.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, IC design ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Own analog chip/sub-section/IP from definition through release and manufacturing.
• Drive technology roadmap and define best practices with Process, Packaging, EDA, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews and sign-off across the team and broader organization.
• Provide design guidance and mentor team members; participate in hiring and development.
• Collaborate with physical designers, verification, validation, product engineering, and test teams to enable successful production transfer.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and field teams; represent TI in architecture and review meetings.
• Evaluate intermediate and final project results and ensure technical objectives and schedules are met.

• Must-have: Proven experience delivering complex, production-quality IC designs on schedule and working effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Must-have: Strong project, time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
• Must-have: Experience guiding physical layout progress and collaborating with layout and verification teams through pre-production phases.
• Nice-to-have: Expert use of Cadence toolset (Spectre), Simplis, Matlab, AMS; experience with Monte Carlo and worst-case analysis.
• Nice-to-have: System-level partitioning and architectural tradeoff experience; transistor-level implementation and device-physics knowledge relevant to power ICs.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with DFM considerations, testability, characterization, and yield-driven design choices.
