Role Summary

Technical sales-facing role responsible for driving adoption of Siemens EDA's Questa One verification platform with strategic accounts across North America. The role partners with account teams to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes and runs account-specific technical campaigns.

Position works across field technical and sales teams, requires regular customer engagement, and focuses on verification technologies including simulation, debug, coverage, formal, CDC, VIP, and functional safety.

Experience Level

Senior — typically requires 10+ years of experience in EDA or IC functional verification and demonstrated technical sales or pre-sales experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on technical strategy, customer engagement, and converting technical wins into sales outcomes.

  • Develop and execute account-level technical strategies and go-to-market plans with field teams.
  • Lead technical campaigns from discovery through successful deployment and customer adoption.
  • Act as the technical liaison between customers and account managers to align solutions to customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders; serve as a strategic verification advisor.
  • Promote Siemens EDA verification solutions (simulation, debug, coverage, formal, CDC, VIP, functional safety) and position competitive advantages.
  • Monitor competitive and market trends to inform strategy and customer positioning.
  • Travel 25–50% to meet customers and internal teams in person.

Requirements

Must-have technical and professional skills for immediate effectiveness.

  • 10+ years of experience in EDA or IC functional verification (hands-on verification background).
  • Hands-on expertise in digital simulation, coverage, formal techniques, CDC analysis, and VIP.
  • Proven track record in technical sales, pre-sales, or account engineering roles.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, executing technical campaigns, and engaging customers to drive adoption.
  • Excellent communication, planning, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a results focus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly (25–50%).
  • Employment is subject to U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR); position may require verification of U.S. Person status or obtaining an export license.
