Semiconductor Package Electrical Engineer
Role Summary
Work on electrical design, modeling, simulation and validation of high-speed interfaces in semiconductor packages. Collaborate with circuit design, IP vendors, product and system engineering to optimize package interconnects and validate electrical models in system environments.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include electrical modeling, test development, and cross-team validation for package interconnects.
- Design and analyze electrical and physical aspects of high-speed interfaces in packages.
- Extract and validate electrical models of package interconnects with circuit design teams and IP vendors to optimize silicon layout and package design.
- Perform electrical modeling, frequency- and time-domain simulation, and characterization of high-speed interfaces.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate package electrical models with measurements.
- Collaborate with product and system engineering for package correlation and system-level validation.
- Implement automation and scalable AI solutions to translate engineering problems into efficient workflows.
Requirements
Required technical skills and experience for the role.
- Must-have: Experience with electrical modeling, simulation, and characterization of high-speed interfaces and package interconnects.
- Must-have: Familiarity with Ansys, Siemens or Cadence tools for frequency-domain modeling, frequency-domain analysis and transient/time-domain analysis.
- Must-have: Ability to develop and execute electrical test plans and validate models with measurements.
- Must-have: Experience collaborating with circuit design teams, IP vendors, product and system engineering for correlation and validation.
- Nice-to-have: Experience applying automation or AI techniques to engineering workflows.
Education Requirements
MTech in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Electromagnetics, Microwave, Antenna Theory and RF Circuits.
