Role Summary
Internship on the Marvell Product Security team focused on security verification and validation at the RTL level. The role supports evaluation of security verification tools, application of security testing methods, and exploration of AI-assisted verification approaches.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include evaluating tools, supporting security testing, and contributing to verification workflows:
- Evaluate specialized security verification tools and assist in vendor/tool assessment.
- Support product security testing on RTL designs using established methods and tools.
- Explore and prototype AI-assisted techniques to support security verification.
- Learn product architecture and verification methodologies and recommend improvements to catch vulnerabilities earlier in the lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams during testing and validation activities.

- Must-have: Understanding of product security assurance principles and security requirements.
- Must-have: Experience or coursework in validation, testing, and debug in a pre-silicon environment.
- Must-have: Verilog/SystemVerilog familiarity to read and understand RTL designs.
- Must-have: Scripting skills in a Unix environment (shell, Python, or similar).
- Must-have: Basic understanding of system architecture and how security maps to architecture.
- Must-have: Effective written and verbal communication and collaboration skills in English.
- Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience evaluating specialized security verification tools or methodologies.
- Preferred / Nice-to-have: Practical experience using AI tools and prompt engineering to assist verification tasks.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028. The posting notes differing compensation may apply for PhD candidates. Equivalent practical experience is not stated.
