Scientist II, Analytics & Metrology
Role Summary
Perform on‑wafer testing and metrology to support applications and R&D for filtration and purification products. Located at Entegris Taiwan Technology Center in Zhudong; collaborate with global R&D and applications teams to provide reproducible analytical results that inform product development and stability.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include routine on‑wafer testing, tool operation and maintenance, data analysis, and supporting product development cycles.
- Execute day‑to‑day on‑wafer testing and maintain tool uptime.
- Develop and apply advanced on‑wafer testing methods.
- Combine organic, metal, and particle analysis to evaluate product performance.
- Deliver accurate, repeatable, and reproducible results to global R&D and applications teams.
- Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous chemistries and heavy materials.
- Support rotating day/evening shift schedules as required.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience as an equipment engineer, process engineer, FSE/FAE, or R&D engineer.
- Ability and willingness to learn 300 mm wafer wet and lithography processes and hardware (required).
- Experience operating or maintaining on‑wafer/metrology tools and producing reproducible data.
- Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals and follow PPE and safety protocols.
- Capable of lifting/moving heavy items (up to ~24 kg) with appropriate equipment.
- Availability for rotating day and evening shifts.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in a lab or semiconductor fab environment.
- Experience with lithography track tools (TEL Pro Z/V, ACT12, SCREEN Sokudo, etc.).
- Experience with wet clean tools (SCREEN SU3100/3200/3300) and defect inspection/review tools (KLA Surfscan/eDR, AMAT SEMVision, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with hazardous chemistries such as HF, H2SO4, TMAH.
- Knowledge of various metrology techniques and 300 mm wafer process tools.
- Proficient English conversational ability.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science. The posting also specifies over 1 year of relevant working experience in an equipment/process/FSE/FAE/R&D engineering role.
