RTL Design Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for an RTL Design Engineer at AMD, primarily focused on SOC Integration and design. The role involves contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies for next-generation computing experiences.

Role Summary

The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality Subsystem IP for AMD’s SoCs, ensuring that project milestones are met in accordance with quality standards.

Experience Level

This role requires an individual with approximately 4-5 years of experience in SOC design, particularly focused on RTL design for subsystems.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing subsystems for processor architectures such as ARM and RISC-V.
• Driving the end-to-end design of Subsystem IPs and SoC design collateral.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams while providing solutions to stakeholders.
• Ensuring timely delivery of projects with a strong focus on quality.

Requirements

Candidates should possess:

• Proven experience in SOC design roles with a focus on RTL design.
• Strong understanding of Micro-architecture design and quality checks.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivation and a proactive approach to driving initiatives.

Education Requirements

Applicants should have either a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
