Role Summary

The AMD IOHUB Team is seeking an ASIC Design Engineer to contribute to I/O connectivity and virtualization technologies for data centers and machine learning workloads. The role involves IP design from architecture to execution, within a collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality technologies.

Experience Level

Mid-level; a proven track record in RTL design for large ASIC development projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Understand functional and performance requirements of the IOHUB within various SOCs.
• Drive IP/SOC design infra decisions.
• Act as a liaison between IP and SOC design teams.
• Scope requirements and resources for project schedules.
• Lead a small team of Engineers as required.
• Signoff on IP quality for SOC delivery.
• Communicate effectively with global teams.
• Gather and present technical status in meetings on a regular basis.

Requirements

Preferred qualifications include:

• Proven RTL design experience on large ASIC projects.
• Strong background in synthesis tools and back end timing closure.
• Expertise in Verilog and System Verilog.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Understanding of IP integration within SOC.
• Self-starter and independent task management.
• Team player with leadership skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
