Role Summary

The RTL Design Engineer at Apple is responsible for specifying, designing, and verifying digital and mixed-signal circuits, contributing to state-of-the-art silicon design. Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and optimize RTL code in Verilog/SystemVerilog for mixed-signal digital blocks.
  • Collaborate with algorithm engineers on DSP algorithm translation.
  • Write assertions and testbenches for design verification.
  • Integrate complex IPs and validate performance in silicon.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with front-end tools, Verilog simulators, and synthesis.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
  • Knowledge in DSP concepts and RTL algorithm implementation.
  • Understanding of design-for-test (DFT) methodologies.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience with formal verification and low-power design methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware-software co-design.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with GenAI tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
