RF Test Engineer
Role Summary
The RF Test Engineer will join Qualcomm's RF Product Development and Test Engineering group, which focuses on developing test solutions for design verification of advanced RF transceiver ICs and modules. This role is integral to collaborating across multiple teams to commercialize and support RF products, ensuring high quality and performance.
Experience Level
Entry-level; minimum 1+ years of experience in semiconductor testing is required, but fresh graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
The RF Test Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Develop test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE), including hardware design and test program development.
- Evaluate and characterize Qualcomm RF Products and create characterization plans.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and meet customer sampling criteria.
- Analyze specifications and create test plans for execution.
Requirements
Basic qualifications include:
- Strong understanding of RF transceiver and analog devices.
- Familiarity with Teradyne UltraFlex development is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Experience with statistical analysis software and Six Sigma techniques is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
