Role Summary

Engineer on a hardware development team within Intel's Wireless Communication Solutions group focused on Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth hardware for mobile applications. Responsible for RF system design, simulation, validation, and board-level integration to meet product specifications.

Responsibilities

Deliver RF hardware and verification activities from concept through lab validation and documentation.

• Design and develop RF hardware subsystems for Wi‑Fi/BT products.
• Perform high-frequency simulations using industry tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS, ADS).
• Perform board-level design with attention to RF components, layout, and signal integrity.
• Define measurement methodologies and execute RF lab validation and debugging.
• Create and maintain technical specifications, test procedures, and integration documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and product delivery.

Requirements

Key must-have skills and additional desirable experience.

• Must-have: Hands-on RF hardware design experience and proven use of RF simulation tools (Ansys HFSS, ADS or similar).
• Must-have: Experience performing RF laboratory measurements with advanced RF test equipment.
• Must-have: Familiarity with schematic design and circuit editing tools (e.g., Cadence).
• Must-have: Understanding of signal integrity and high-frequency design principles.
• Must-have: Strong analytical skills, self-learning ability, and high-level English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Desirable: Board-level layout experience focused on RF, and prior work in Agile development environments.
• Desirable: Interest and hands-on experience building or using AI-based automation or data-driven tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Other: Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team; on-site presence required.

Education Requirements

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
