Role Summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a motivated Engineer specializing in RF circuit design to join the Reference design team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will focus on achieving high quality and efficiency in RF circuit design and work closely with various internal teams including design, layout, technology, test, and product engineering.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with 3-5 years' experience for MTech candidates or 0-4 years for PhD candidates.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the RF Design Engineer include:

• Designing, simulating, and verifying RF circuit blocks such as LNA, PA, RF Switches, and SPXTs.
• Supporting silicon bring-up and characterization.
• Participating in design/layout reviews.
• Providing innovative solutions for design challenges.

Requirements

Required qualifications include:

• MTech with 3-5 years of experience, or PhD with 0-4 years of experience from top-tier institutes.
• Proficiency in Analog and RF circuit design, with experience using EDA tools such as Cadence and ADS.
• Experience in RF blocks like LNA, PA, RF switches, SPXTs.
• Knowledge in layout and parasitic extraction.
• Strong technical verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate on multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements

MTech or PhD in relevant fields, preferably from recognized institutions.
