Role Summary

As a Digital Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the digital design and RTL coding using Verilog or System Verilog. You will integrate modules at SoC and work hands-on in the development cycle, especially in the frontend domain until tapeout. This includes RTL coding, CDC, Lint, synthesis, STA, DFT. You will debug and fix functional issues in RTL and develop scripts to automate frequently used processes. Your role will require validating all digital design functionality on silicon and developing innovative solutions.

Experience Level

Entry-level, typically targeting recent graduates or candidates with a few years of experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for digital design and RTL coding using Verilog or System Verilog.
  • Integrate modules at SoC and participate in the full development cycle.
  • Perform RTL coding, CDC, Lint, synthesis, STA, and DFT.
  • Debug RTL functional issues and develop automation scripts.
  • Validate digital design functionality on silicon.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • MS or above in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with a focus on digital IC design.
  • Experience with a full design cycle from architecture to place and route.
  • Hands-on experience with HDL such as Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL.
  • Proficiency in scripting using TCL or Perl.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Exposure to industry standard tools in VLSI digital design is preferred.

Education Requirements

MS or above in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on digital IC design.
